The dial

We killed the
comment section.

Comments were the worst thing the old web left us. So CueCue doesn't have them. When someone posts a take, you don't reply — you set a level.

A fader, not a text box

Nobody gets a text box
to be terrible in.

The disagreement dial is a mixer fader: slide from "not hearing it" to "hearing it." You're responding to the take, not the song — a declared position on a declared position, provenance all the way down. The blogger sees where the room landed. Nobody gets dunked on.

It's a single axis on purpose. The gradient is the innovation; granularity can come later. Try it — drag the real one. →

Everywhere else

A blinking text box, a pile-on, a stranger's worst sentence pinned to your work.

CueCue

One fader. Where you land on the take. Aggregate signal, zero cruelty.

"This beat is a whole sermon. Kendrick doesn't need to yell — he never has. That patience is what makes it hit harder than anything loud could."

The control law

Round to consume. Square to do.

The dial's shape is part of a system. Everything round is media — the player ring, the grid faces, the play control. Everything squared is an action. Pills mark state. The eye learns one grammar and never has to relearn it.

Round = media

The player ring, the crate faces, the play button. Anything you consume is a circle.

Square = action

Cue this. Get the file. The DJ-pad button — soft-cornered, never sharp. Anything you do.

Pill = state

Private, shared, public. A pill tells you how something is, not what to do with it.

Say where you land.
Not what you think of them.
